Weddings
Hopton Court is fully licensed for civil marriages and partnerships. There are a number of licensed locations in and around the house and include the Orangery, the Coach House, The Courtyard, The Portico, The Dining Room and two, stunning woodland locations.
The Coach House, Orangery and grounds and woodlands are available for you to organise your own wedding or celebration for a venue fee. You are free to make all your own decisions as to how you want to run your function and which suppliers you wish to use. Hopton Court does not offer ‘event packages’, but instead gives you the opportunity to make your own mark, creating and styling your special day just the way you want it.
The grounds offer a variety of ceremony options all with stunning views. The most favourite space is the Victorian Orangery. Inside, under its stunning curved roof with stone walls bedecked with sweet smelling flowers, or outside, providing a stunning backdrop to your nuptials. The Orangery also provides a lovely space for smaller more intimate occasions, Renewal of Vows, special anniversary celebration or baby naming.
The Coach House, newly refurbished in 2021 seats 60 for a wedding breakfast or is perfect for drinks and canapes in the pretty courtyard surrounded by pretty shrubs and flowers. It has a fully functioning professional kitchen.
Accommodation
The Hopton Crown is a short walk (and a 3 minute drive) away in the village of Hopton Wafers. A recently refurbished and beautifully welcoming hotel/pub which has 12 beautiful rooms and two small cottages (sleeps 4 in each) available for rental by your party.
There is an area in the Walled Garden for camping if your guests want to stay over or a glamp site with 6 fully serviced bell tents for hire.
Hollywaste Cottage is a charming two bedroom cottage situated in the village of Hopton Wafers. It sleeps 5 people and has fabulous views.
Spring Cottage Shepherds Hut is a short drive away in picturesque Bayton. This modern hut is designed with space, relaxation and convenience in mind. The views from this hut are outstanding and its prime spot on the Shropshire / Worcestershire border

Church Ceremonies
St Michael & All Angels Church in Hopton Wafers is used on many occasions when weddings take at Hopton Court and is only a five-minute walk from the house.
